Often this fish is listed as difficult to keep but we have found that properly collected specimens not only thrive but grow to a nice size if offered good water quality and lots of chunky meaty frozen foods. We import only net-collected specimens from our quality suppliers. Australian specimens have brighter coloration than the ones we bring in from bali. Although this fish looks ominous with their exposed blue teeth, they should actually be housed with mild-mannered tank mates such as larger clownfish, damsels, bird wrasses, pink tail triggers, rabbitfish, angels and tangs.

Lunare
Common Name: Lunare
Latin Name: Thalassoma Lunare

Due to the awesome coloration and hardiness, this is one of the most popular wrasses. Lunare Wrasses should be kept with aggressive tank mate only. We have seen this wrasse eat the eyes from slow moving tank mates so use caution when adding new fish to the tank. They will eat any prepared food offered and quickly become quite tame in the aquarium. Males develop a beautiful lyretail with vivid pink and green color on the pectoral fins. This is one of the easiest marine fish to keep in captivity. Groupers will often show aggression toward this fish!

They will eat shrimp, squid and other prepared frozen food. These are bold fish that will steal food from any of its tank mates if given the chance. Red Coris
Common Name: Red Coris
Latin Name: Coris Gaimard

Considered one of the most striking wrasses, use caution when purchasing this fish. Red coris wrasses are delicate fish that have a hard time recovering from the stresses of capture and shipping from the wild. Purchase only full-bodied, actively feeding specimens that have been at the store at least 7 days. This is not the fish for the beginner. House with peaceful tank mates only!
- MAXIMUM SIZE: 8"
- REEF SAFE: JUVENILES ONLY

Six Line

Twin Spot

This awesome african import is worth the expensive price. The beautiful juvenile coloration remains with these fish until they reach about five inches long. The adult color phase is not as striking but is still attractive. This fish should only be housed with peaceful tank mates. This wrasse buries under the substrate at night and emerges in the morning as if it has a built-in clock. Only purchase specimens that are actively feeding and avoid emaciated specimens. They will eat a variety of meaty frozen foods such as brine shrimp, plankton, chopped shrimp and clam.
- MAXIMUM SIZE: 8" IN THE AQUARIUM
- REEF SAFE: JUVENILES ONLY

Yellow Coris
Common Name: Yellow Coris
Latin Name: Halichoeres Chrysus

This beautiful wrasse should be housed with smaller peaceful fish such as gobies, blennies, pseudochromis, dwarf angels, small tangs and clownfish. They are shy when first introduced but once established they will remain out of the substrate for most of the day. They will eat finely chopped meaty frozen foods, brine shrimp, small plankton and marine flakes. This fish benefits from feeding several small feedings throughout the day as opposed to one large feeding.
- MAXIMUM SIZE: 6"
- REEF SAFE: JUVENILES ONLY

Coral Soft

Latin Name: Dendronephthya

This is an extremely difficult species to maintain over the long term unless fed daily with an assortment of planktonic foods like brine shrimp nauplii, phytoplex, ets plankton, marine snow, etc. Prefers good water flow and requires no special lighting. Not recommended except for the most advanced reef keepers.

Colonial Polyps
Common Name: Colonial Polyps
Latin Name: Zoathus/Palythoa sp.

These animals are hardy and will thrive under a variety of lighting conditions. They are available in a variety of colors. If fed regularly, they will grow and multiply often covering entire rocks. Most species will thrive even without feeding although the growth rate is slower. Depending on the variety depends on where they should be placed in the aquarium. All prefer strong water flow. You can directly feed them brine nauplii, phytoplex, ets plankton and marine snow using a syringe to shoot the food over the open polyps. Strongly recommended. Some species can be invasive and aggressive toward surrounding corals.

Colt
Common Name: Colt
Latin Name: Cladiella

This is one of the hardiest of the soft corals. It prefers low to middle placement in the aquarium and moderate to strong water flow. This coral has powerful stings that will burn other corals that may come in contact with it. No special feeding required. Easy to propagate.

Mushroom

This hardy species is sometimes referred to as mushroom anemones. Nearly all species are extremely hardy and can adapt to a variety of lighting and water flow conditions. The intensity of color and appearance in the tank depends on where they are placed. They will display deep color if kept low in the tank and more pale color if placed near the top. Under low lighting the discs will stretch upward and develop a "stalk". In brighter conditions they will stay close to the rockwork. The more common varieties can be invasive multiplying everywhere! Available in a multitude of colors. Most require no special feeding. Strongly recommended.

Strongly suggested for beginners.

Yellow Leather
Common Name: Yellow Leather
Latin Name: Sarcophyton Elegans

This is a more difficult species to maintain than most other leather species. This coral requires bright light and strong water flow to thrive. This coral is prone to infection from handling and we have read that oils from the skin can be to blame. No direct feeding required. Watch this coral closely for any dark or black tissue infection.

Red Chili
Common Name: Red Chili
Latin Name: Nephthyigorgia

This coral expands it's polyp mainly at night when first introduced. With regular feeding this is a hardy species. If placed in a dark cave or crevice with strong flow, it will "open" all day making feeding much easier. Feed plankton type foods like phytoplex, ets plankton, marine snow, etc. Like other soft corals, they will molt on occasion. Very low to no light required.

Sphincter
Common Name: Sphincter

This odd soft coral can withdraw completely into it's base giving a look that resembles it's common name. It should be placed in the sand bed or nestled between rocks.
